The Peptide Letters

A letter from June

To the woman with a tab about peptides open right now,

Has anyone tested this on women?

It's the first thing I check, every time. Then I tell you what I found.

So I read the studies, the FDA files, and the forums. Then I tell you what we know, what we don't, and what to ask your doctor.

I'm not here to talk you out of anything. I'm here so you can decide well.

Peptides, GLP-1s, and the research nobody ran on women. Not the collagen in your kitchen. The shots and pills in your feed.

Questions worth asking

What comes with the letter

Here are three questions I chase down. Here is how the letter takes on each one.

  1. Was it tested on women?

That is the first thing I check. When the answer is no, I say so.

In the letter: three questions for every claim. Was it tested on women? On how many? Who makes money?

  2. What happens when I stop my GLP-1?

You deserve a plan for that. I help you build the questions.

In the letter: what the research says about stopping. Does the weight come back? How do you keep your muscle and bones strong?

  3. Can I take a GLP-1 with hormone therapy?

That is the kind of question I chase down. You deserve a plain answer.

In the letter: what's known, what's a guess, and the exact questions to bring to your doctor.

How I work

Straight answers, with the receipts

  • Every claim links to where it came from, so you can check me.
  • When the proof is thin, I say so. When something works, I say that too.
  • No doses and no how-to. That talk belongs with your doctor, and I'll help you know what to ask.

Talk soon,

June
