The Peptide Letters
An illustration of June, a woman in her fifties with wavy brown hair going silver, gold stud earrings, and a green sweater, smiling.

About June, and who is really writing

You should know who is behind a letter before you trust it. Here are the plain answers to the questions you'd ask.

Who is June?

June is the pen name and illustrated face of The Peptide Letters. She's a character, and we say so because trust is the whole point. A small, independent team does the research, writing, and fact-checking, with help from AI. A human reviews every issue before it reaches you.

June has no medical credentials, and neither do we. That's why we cite our sources and tell you when the proof is weak. We never give dosing or medical advice.

Who publishes it?

Published by J. (a pen name). J. is an independent publisher in Washington State. We say the pen name part out loud on purpose.

We are not doctors, researchers, or pharmacists. Our work is reading. We read FDA files, hearing notes, and study results. Then we explain what they say in plain words.

Why a character?

We wanted a warm, friendly voice with no product to push.

June is that voice. But the proof is never "trust June." The proof is the source link on every claim, and you can check each one.

How is each letter made?

We are small, so we use AI tools to help. They watch for new FDA filings, gather studies, and sum up long papers.

Then a person checks every claim against the real source. A person decides what goes in the letter. When a study is small, early, or only in animals, we say so in the same sentence.

What if you get something wrong?

We fix it in the next issue, and we label the fix. We never change a claim quietly after the fact.

Think we got something wrong? Reply to any issue. A person reads every reply. Being set straight by a reader is a good day, not a bad one.

What will you never do?

  • Tell you what to take, how much, or when.
  • Give advice about your own health. That's a talk for your doctor. We'll tell you what to ask.
  • Hide an ad inside a story. Every sponsor is labeled.
  • Post before and after photos.
  • Claim a title or degree we don't have.
  • Sell your data, or share it with a sponsor.

How do I reach you?
